Eres Boricua si usas estas palabras...
We, Puerto Ricans, have a special way of talking. A special way of saying things that only other Puerto Ricans can understand. We tend to use a lot of "anglicismos". We take some words in english and make them sound spanish, somehow. In some cases we do it in a way that really sounds funny, or even, phoney.
..... si para ti "Toño Bicicleta" es el Robin Hood boricua
..... si has oido a alguien preguntar.."Que pajo..?? "
..... dices "dale pichon" cuando quieres acabar una conversacion

Misconceptions about Spanish
Some believe that the Spanish language spoken in Puerto Rico, Mexico and Spain varies widely from one country to the next. However, this is far from true. The Spanish spoken around the world is for the most part standardized. In other words, the Spanish language spoken in one Spanish country can easily be understood by another Spanish speaker in another Spanish speaking country. We, Puerto Ricans identify ourselves as Boricuas, a word that originated from the Taino word Boriken (also known as Boriquen, Borinquen, or Borinquen), to illustrate our recognition of our Taino heritage.
The word Boriken, which means "the great land of the valiant and noble Lord", was used by the original Taino Indian population to refer to the island of Puerto Rico before the arrival of the Spaniards.
The use of the word Boricua has been popularized by descendents of Puerto Rico heritage, commonly using the phrase, "Yo soy Boricua" to identify ourselves as Puerto Ricans.
