Studied my first two years of college at the Recinto Universitario de Mayaguez, better known as C.A.A.M. Joined the U.S. Army in 1977 and began my journey out of my island. Stationed in Fort Hood, Texas from 1978 to 1984, except for a one year "trip" to South Korea. Graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the American Technological University in Texas and left the service in 1984. Relocated to the Dallas area in 1985. Moved back to Puerto Rico in 1989 with a renal company. In 1995 went to work with Baxter, developing the Renal business in Puerto Rico, then developed their business in the islands of the Caribbean. In 1999 moved to Chile as General Manager. In 2000 moved to Argentina as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2001 left Baxter and returned to the United States to enjoy a long sabbatical.
